A quiet retreat at the foot of Mount Slamet
Wake to mist rolling through the trees, step onto cool tile floors, and let the rhythm of village mornings set your pace. Anagata Home is where slowness isn't a luxury — it's the way things are.
Anagata Home sits on the quiet edge of Kemutug Lor, a highland village in Baturaden where the air is cool, the nights are still, and the mornings belong to birdsong. Our rooms are simple, warm, and thoughtfully kept — designed not to impress, but to let you rest.
Breakfast is included — served each morning with local flavors and fresh mountain produce. You'll eat the way the village does: unhurried, generous, and close to the source.
Kemutug Lor is a village on the slopes of Mount Slamet, just outside the town of Baturaden. At 700 meters above sea level, the air here stays cool year-round — a welcome change from the lowland heat.
From here, the Baturraden hot springs, forest trails, and tea plantations are minutes away. Or stay put — the village itself, with its terraced fields and quiet roads, is its own kind of destination.
Our largest room, made for families or groups. Comfortable beds for five to seven, a private bathroom, and windows opening to the garden.
A warm room for a family or small group of four to six. Private bathroom and wooden shutters that open to the trees.
