Where mountain, story, and craft meet
Rooted in the highland village of Kemutug Lor, Anagata Nusantara brings together hospitality, food, craft, and community — four ways to experience Baturraden, all under one roof.
Our story began in 2023, at the foot of Mount Slamet in the village of Kemutug Lor. With a love for Indonesia's living heritage and a desire to share the quiet beauty of Baturraden with the world, we started small — a B&B nestled in the mountains, where guests could find a slower rhythm.
What began here has grown into something more: today, Anagata Nusantara reaches farther, partnering with a community in Central Java that is weaving a new livelihood alongside their old ways. This isn't just a place to stay; it's a homecoming to tradition and tranquility, and to what comes next.
Sugeng rawuh — Welcome home.
Anagata Nusantara grew from a simple question: how can a village that has long lived off the land also live alongside it? Our B&B welcomes travelers. Our coming restaurant will share Javanese flavors. Our handicrafts carry the work of community hands. And our empowerment house is where it all begins.
Every service feeds the next. Every guest, customer, and partner becomes part of the village's next chapter.
